Mcaffeine Cappuccino Coffee Face Mask Review

In today’s post I am sharing my experience with the newly launched Mcaffeine Cappuccino Coffee Face Mask with salicylic acid and kaolin for acne prone skin.

I am a big fan of wash off clay masks and when they are combined with ingredients like salicylic acid it’s a must try for me.

Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) which helps in clearing out the pores. It has keratolytic properties that helps in dissolving the dead skin cell layers, reduces sebum production and cleans dirt and debris which can cause comedones and acne.

Coming to the product details-

What does the product say ?

This cappuccino coffee mask is especially designed for oily acne prone skin. With the goodness of salicylic acid and kaolin it helps in controlling excess sebum production and prevents future breakouts.

Almond milk helps in nourishing the skin. Coffee and caffeine have antioxidant properties which prevents free radical damage.

My experience with the product-

As I have a combination acne prone skin I love to use clay masks as a weekly treatment for myself. It helps in reducing the dirt and oil buildup and keeps my skin free from blackheads and acne.

Recently I have started  incorporating exfoliating face masks which contain AHAs or BHA. They help in removing the oil and dirt effectively without irritating or being harsh on my skin.

I have applied this mask for quite a few times now. It has a nice creamy fluffy texture which can be applied easily on the skin.

It’s not like a normal clay mask. The mask doesn’t dry out completely and it gives a kind of slippery feeling while washing it off. My skin looks brighter and cleaner after using this product. It doesn’t feel dry or stretchy but I do apply a good moisturiser afterwards to retain the moisture in my skin.

I’ve not seen any long lasting effects after using this product but my skin does feel brighter for at least 2 hours after application of the mask. The smell is heavenly. If you like coffee you are definitely going to love its smell.
