Packaging and texture-

The mask comes in a tube packaging with a flip top. The texture is quite creamy which spreads easily on the skin.

Directions of usage-

Apply a generous amount of the product on your face and neck. Leave it for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.

My experience with the product-

I am a big clay mask person. I’ve a combination skin type which is acne-prone. Sometimes my skin becomes so dull due to dirt and oil which results in clogging of pores and breakouts. I do love a good clay mask to reduce the sebum on my skin, remove the impurities without over drying it. Oriental Botanics Rivayat Ubtan clay mask consists of kaolin clay which acts as a great skin cleanser. It helps in removing excess oil and dirt. Multani mitti on the other hand helps in absorbing excess oil and minimise the appearance of pores. Aloe vera helps in the moisturisation of the skin and helps in locking in the moisture.

Natural ingredients like neem, turmeric, basil have antimicrobial properties which helps in reducing the size of active breakouts and prevents future acne. Rosewater has soothing and moisturising properties. It maintains the pH of the skin. Nagkesar helps in clearing out the pores giving a healthy complexion.

Saffron helps in reducing dark spots and blemishes on the skin and amla acts as antioxidant which helps in preventing the early signs of aging. The mask also contains ingredients like shea butter and cocoa for providing hydration and nourishment to the skin.

I apply this mask 2-3 times a week. While applying the face mask there is quite a tingling sensation on my skin which calms down in a few minutes. The mask completely dries in 20 minutes and does not feel over stretchy on the skin. It is effortlessly removed by lukewarm water. My skin doesn’t feel dry after using this product. I can see instant brightness on my skin. The results are not long lasting.but i don’t expect much from a wash off clay mask. If it’s giving me an instant glow even for a few hours before an event that works well with me. I expect long lasting effects only from serums, creams and special skin treatments..
