In today’s post I am reviewing “Trichup Keratin Shampoo and Hair Mask“.

Frankly speaking I was really excited when I got these products as Trichup is one of my favourite Indian hair care brands which I’ve been using for a very long time. I totally remember going with my parents to the shopping marts, there was not even a single store which didn’t sell their products.

Trichup is a Flagship brand of Vasu Healthcare,which has forty years of excellence and their products are available in 40+ countries. It has been known for their amazing concoction of ingredients and herbal hair oils. Trichup’s products are seen as the best in the business when it comes to comprehensive hair care solutions.

Keratin is one of the family of fibrous structural proteins called scleroproteins. It is the key structural material present in hair, nails and skin. When applied topically, keratin works by smoothing down the cells that overlap to form the hair strands. The hair cuticle absorbs keratin resulting in making the hair looking glossy. It manages frizzy hair, makes them easier to style and straighter in appearance.

Trichup Keratin Shampoo is fortified with Keratin protein, which forms a layer over the hair replacing the lost Keratin and rebuilds strength, returns elasticity and reduces breakage. It also contains suitable conditioners to leave hair healthy, shiny and frizz-free.

Ammonium lauryl sulphate, aqua, laureth-4, cocamidopropyl betaine, glycol distearate, BHT, sodium cocoyl glycinate, cocamide DEA, glycerin, hydrolysed keratin, polyquaternium-39, dimethiconol, TEA-dodecylbenzenesulfonate, parfum, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, disodium EDTA, magnesium nitrate, methylchloroisothiazolinone, magnesium chloride, methylisothiazolinone.

Directions for usage-

Apply an appropriate quantity to wet hair, work up a rich lather, rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.

Packaging and texture-

Comes in a pretty green bottle with a flip top. The texture is creamy which lathers very well on hair.

Comes in a huge tub. The texture is creamy and thick.

Directions for usage-

Use an appropriate quantity according to the length of your hair. Spread over wet hair from root to tip after shampooing. Leave it for 10-15 minutes, preferably with hair wrapped in a hot towel and rinse off thoroughly.

My experience with the products-

As I have already mentioned earlier, Trichup is a brand which I have trusted since my childhood. The shampoo has a pleasant smell with a nice creamy texture that lathers effortlessly on the hair. The shampoo, even when used alone does not dry my hair and leaves them silky and soft. The smell is not overpowering and lingers throughout the day. It does not contain SLES, parabens and dioxane.

Trichup keratin hair mask is super creamy and glides on the hair so easily. Like the shampoo it has a very light pleasant fragrance that just calms your senses. I leave the mask for 15 minutes after the shampoo and tie a nice warm towel around my hair for better penetration of the product. The mask comes off easily giving a smooth texture to the hair. I rinse off my hair with cold water and let it air dry. My hair feels smooth, soft and manageable after using it. It imparts a nice lustre to my mane. As I live in a hot humid climate this is an excellent product at an affordable price that helps to reduce the frizziness in hair & also reduces split ends. Really happy with the way the products performed on my hair.
