I really haven’t got time to write my blogs for a very long time. As soon as I used to make up my mind one or the other work popped up at my door.

Well without further delay, today I am reviewing Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask. Sheet masks are a great way to boost up hydration and moisturisation to dull dehydrated skin. I love using these masks and my cabinet is always stocked up with my favourite ones.

One of my favourites is this particular sheet mask which I always purchase whenever the weather starts getting cold.

Klairs rich moist soothing tencel sheet mask targets moisturising and soothing the skin. It is made up of a tencel gauze sheet which fits perfectly on the face and feels really soft.

This concentrated care sheet mask helps in improving the protective skin barrier of the skin.

Directions to use-

After cleansing the face pull out the sheet mask from the pouch and unfold carefully as it comes in two parts. Evenly place the mask on the entire face, adjusting the upper part to the eyes and lower part to the mouth. After 15-20 minutes remove the mask sheet and gently pat the remaining essence into the skin.

As I am growing older, I have been more concentrating towards hydration and moisturisation of my skin. When the skin is hydrated and nourished, it naturally heals itself. It makes the skin more supple, reduces redness and inflammation providing a barrier by preventing the moisture loss. A good moisturised skin feels soft and has an amazing glow as well.

This particular mask contains five types of ceramides namely ceramides NP, ceramides AP, ceramides EOP, ceramides NS and ceramides AS. Ceramides are a class of lipids which are made up of long chain fatty acids that combine with different important molecules to provide a good cellular structure and function. They also help in preventing transepidermal loss of water which locks moisture into the skin and promotes hydration. Ceramides also helps in preventing and reducing the appearance of fines line and wrinkles making the skin look more youthful. The ingredients like aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica extract helps in soothing and calming the skin, prevents dryness while providing intensive hydration to the skin. I usually leave this mask for 20 minutes and pat the remaining essence on my face and neck. The sheet is drenched in the essence which does not dry even after 20 minutes. I follow with my ceramide moisturizer after complete absorption of the product. Next day my skin feels smooth and hydrated.
