Today I am going to review Suganda’s Antioxidant Serum. I am really happy how they have formulated their ingredient list in order to give maximum benefits to the consumer and have reduced unnecessary toxic skin agents from their products.
Suganda Anti-Oxidant Serum is a concoction of skin loving antioxidants that helps in protection and repair of the skin from free radical damage. It’s always said that prevention is better than cure so using certain topical ingredients before your skin starts developing damage, it’s better to indulge in a proper skincare routine to let your skin age gracefully.
Coming to the product–
The product claims to brighten the skin, even out skin tone and repair it from sun damage and pollution damage.
Available in 2 sizes-
10 ml- 599 INR
20 ml- 1000 INR.
Aqua, sodium ascorbyl phosphate (stable form of vitamin C),propanediol, glycerin, ferulic acid, tocopherol, centella asiatica, curcumin, polysorbate 20, PEG-40, hydrogenated castor oil xanthum gum, sodium hyaluronate, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, citric acid.
The product comes in dark colored glass bottle with a dropper.
Directions To Use-
Beginner’s do a patch test before application. Apply 2-3 drops with your moisturizer.
For people whose skin has been adapted to vitamin C serum they can use 3-4 drops after cleansing and toning their face. Do apply a moisturizer after application of this serum.
Caution– discontinue usage if skin irritation develops.
Vitamin C– form used is Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, helps in collagen synthesis, a potent antioxidant, prevents fine line, age spots, wrinkles and sun damage. Good for healing and repair of the skin and provides an even skin tone. it also accelerates the fading of post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation on the skin.
Ferulic Acid– this is found in rice bran, helps in maintaining the skin integrity, prevents fine lines, wrinkles and sun spots.
Curcumin– a chemical compound found in turmeric which is anti-inflammatory in nature, prevents tanning, reduces sun spots, helps in fading acne marks, and also have anti- microbial properties.
Skin calming ingredients such as Centella Asiatica and Sodium Hyaluronate (form of hyaluronic acid) helps in moisturisation, hydration and provides calming properties to the skin.
My experience with the product–
I was really happy using their Niacinamide 10% Serum, so I decided to try the antioxidant serum as well. The form of vitamin C they have used in this serum is 10 % Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate which is a less irritating and more stable form of vitamin C. I use 3-4 drops of this serum every alternate day at night after cleansing and tonic my face, following with my moisturizer. I never forget to apply a sunscreen during the day time as actives like these can make your skin sensitive to ultra violet rays which can lead to serious damage, hyper-pigmentation and tanning of the skin.
The active ingredients used in this particular product are skin friendly and moisturizes and hydrates the skin, also imparting a nice glow and softness at the same time. Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid works really well together so I love to combine these skincare ingredients to maximize the benefit.
On the other hand don’t combine Vitamin C Serum with retinoids, AHA’s, BHA’s OR higher concentration of niacinamide as it might irritate your skin.
Available in 2 sizes.
Good combination of active ingredients.
Vegan, cruelty free.
Contains stable form of vitamin c.
Imparts a nice glow.
Did not cause any adverse effects of breakouts on my skin.
A little product goes a long way.
No greasy feel after application.
None for me
Well I repurchase it? Will recommend it?
Yes!! This is a very good face serum, at an affordable price.
Hope you found this review helpful.
