Here I am with the review of another absolutely cute product from the Korean brand “TonyMoly”.

I am seriously awestruck with the way they work on the packaging. TonyMoly products are quite affordable as compared to the other international brands. They definitely do what they claim (at least the ones I’ve tried so far 😅). The last product I reviewed from the brand was “TakoPore One Shot Nose Pack”

So coming to this pretty egg head 🥚

As mentioned in the packaging this is an egg pore tightening cooling pack. From the name itself we can guess that this is an egg mask which helps in tightening the pores while giving a cooling sensation on the face.

The packaging is super-duper cute. I mean, they literally made the container in the form of an egg.

What does the product say?

The enhanced ice corset pore pack tightens open and loose pores seamlessly with a cooling effect that covers the pore.

Ingredients

Water, kaolin, butylene glycol, bentonite, titanium dioxide, acrylates copolymer, zea mays (corn) starch, perfluorohexane, phenoxyethanol, tromethamine, chlorphenesin, PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, glycerin, ethylhexylglycerin, caprylyl glycol, cellulose gum, perfluorodecalin, potassium alginate, pentafluoropropane, fragrance, alcohol, disodium EDTA, 1-2 hexanediol sea salt, vinegar, egg shell powder, sodium hyaluronate.

Directions to use

Apply an appropriate amount and spread onto pores. After 10-15 minutes when the mask is completely dry wash it off with lukewarm water.

Caution– Discontinue if irritation or rash appears. For external use only, avoid contact with eyes.

My experience with the product

A lot of people use raw egg white for tightening their pores, controlling oil and prevention of blackheads/whiteheads. I totally cannot do that because as much as I hate my wide pores I hate the smell of raw eggs 🤢. As a combination skinned person I always have to deal with enlarged pores, excessive oil and acne on my face.

When I saw this cute little egg at Nykaa’s site, I totally made up my mind to give this a try, as a lot of people claim that egg mask is really good for people with enlarged pores. When I got this product, as usual I was super excited to use it (old habits 😛). It contains egg shell powder.

I cleansed my face nicely and applied an even layer on my skin. This mask looks like a mousse but spreads really evenly and effortlessly on the face. The product is white in color and has a mild fragrance. The pack did felt cool on application. After 20 minutes, it was completely dry and felt tight on my face. If you have used a clay mask before it has a similar feeling. After washing it with lukewarm water my skin felt fresh but not extremely dry. It did remove the dead skin layer from my face and my skin definitely felt smoother. I did not experience any redness/ allergic reaction on my face and my t-zone area felt matte for up to two hours.
