Chocolate Pudding Recipe

Chocolate puddings are one of my go to dessert recipes when I don’t have time to cook and keep craving for something sweet 💖. Today I decided to post this recipe as I prepared it for myself and was feeling a bit sweet-tooth.
This recipe is super easy and takes very little time🍫🍫

3/4 cup cocoa powder of your choice

1 cup sugar

1/4 cup corn flour

4 cups of milk

1 tablespoon salted butter

Few drops of vanilla essence

Mix cocoa powder, sugar and corn flour in a heavy bottom sauce pan. Turn on the stove in medium flame and gradually add milk while continuously mixing it so that it does not settle down or burn from the bottom.
When the mixture starts thickening put it on simmer mode and let in cook for 1 minute. Continuous stirring is necessary.

Then turn off the heat and add salted butter and vanilla essence to it while giving a nice stir. If you don’t have salted butter just use the unsalted one and add a pinch of salt to it. The salt will nicely enhance the sweet flavour of the pudding.

Transfer the mixture into a container or small dessert jars and add some grated chocolate on top. Let it cool for sometime. Refrigerate it and voila!

Serve chilled ♥️ You can garnish it with your favourite fruit or topping 🥰

Try out this super easy chocolate pudding at home and enjoy 💞💞

Do mention in the comments how did it turn out ♥️

Take care🙂

Stay safe 🥰

  1. Ahhh that’s amazing, I need to try it. Starchy puddings are very popular in Poland, but I always just bought them (powder that you just cook with milk). I really need to try making it from scratch one day, it really isn’t rocket science.
