TonyMoly Kiss Kiss Lovely Lip Patch Review

Hello everyone 👋

With Tony Moly launching in India at Nykaa, I’ve been obsessed about trying out its new products 😯. They have such cute packaging that they make me curious and keen to use them out.

I’ve been trying its sheet masks (review coming soon), the nose strips, Tako Pore range etc.

This time I tried its Kiss Kiss Lovely Lip Patch. Frankly speaking I am a big Vaseline kinda girl. Whenever my lips are chapped I go either for Vaseline or the desi nuskhas my mom and granny taught me 😉. Recently I’ve been using certain lip balms from various brands as they are pretty tinted , smells good and keeps my lips hydrated with a glossy appearance for a long period of time😘.

With the lockdown the salons have been shut down for a while and I needed some deep pamper home spa day, so I thought it would be fun to try this product for some extra boosted hydration and treating my lips and mouth area with something that is specially designed for them 😁.

Lip masks works in the same way as sheet masks do for your face. They are meant for deep hydration and penetration of the product at the affected area.  It marinates your pout with target specific ingredients, nourishes and plumps them. There are varieties of lip masks available in the market containing collagen, hyaluronic acid or fruit extracts.

What does the product say?

The product claims to make the lips super soft and moisturized.

How to use it?

Clean your lips with a mild cleanser and remove all makeup or oil present, apply the patch according to the shape and leave it on for 15-20 minutes.

Price- 150 INR.

Ingredients

My experience with the product-

I’ve never tried a lip patch before so I didn’t know what to expect from this product. It’s a beautiful pink colored gel like mask in the shape of a lip. The product has a mild fragrance and is packed with abundant amount of serum. After placing it carefully on my lips it felt so weird and my appearance was literally like I was stung by a bee 🐝. My husband saw me from a distance while I was roaming around the house and he got scared for a moment as he thought something happened to me 🤪.

The patch didn’t slip or fell while I was walking, which was something I was happy about. Twenty minutes later I removed it and pat the rest of the serum. My lips definitely felt moisturized and there was no tacky residue left behind. There was no dramatic change or results which were felt after using this mask. Too much to expect after one time use? 😝

Pros

  • Travel friendly
  • Moisturizes the lips
  • Makes lips and the surrounding mouth area smoother.
  • No funny smell.
  • Attractive packaging.

Cons

  • The results are not long lasting.
  • Costs 150 INR just for one patch.

Will I repurchase it?

Ummm…. No.. I think my gharelu ingredients and the chubby lip balm sticks are much better than these fancy lip patches. They give more long lasting results and don’t make a hole in my pocket.

Hope you liked it 😊
