Today I’ll be reviewing a very captivating product from the famous Korean brand “TONYMOLY”.

TONYMOLY has been known for its cute, affordable and effective skincare products all over the world. This time I decided to try its Tako Pore One Shot Nose Pack.

When it comes to skin problems they are just endless. Excess sebum, enalarged pores, dryness, patchy areas, redness irritation, acne, comedones, blackheads, whiteheads *blah blah blah*😵 are just few to start with. Is there no permanent solution? Yes, beautiful skin requires a commitment not miracle and I do follow a good skincare routine that helps me a lot. But my skin problems are such a fighter that they come back again and again😩.

Blackheads and whiteheads are tiny bumps that appear on the skin, which are formed when the pores become clogged with combination of dead skin cells and excess oil/sebum from the sebaceous glands. Unlike the whiteheads, blackheads have open surfaces which create oxidation resulting in the dark color. If not treated, they can result into infection and inflammation which results in acne.

Proper skincare routine and treatments can help a lot to keep them at bay.

Before I start with the review let’s take a moment to appreciate how cute the packaging is. I am personally scared of octopus but this little Captain Octopus stole my heart🥰😍. I could get all squishy mushy with it. The cuteness of this product made me stop the scroll. So whoever was behind this idea BRAVO!!👏👏 You literally did a great job.

Now coming to the product, it says this strong octopus nose pack removes blackheads from the middle of the forehead as well as wider nose area.

One strip costs 150 INR.

Directions to use–

After cleansing and wetting the nose and forehead , peel off the plastic liner and place the smooth side of the sheet down on the nose and forehead area. When the sheet is completely dry, peel it off starting from the outer edges.

My Experience With The Product–

So being a combination sensitive skinned girl I deal with excess sebum, blackheads and whiteheads in my T-Zone area. With my skincare routine I tend to get lesser number of blackheads and whiteheads than I used to get earlier.

The other nose packs I’ve tried in the past only cover the nose and a bit of cheek area. What attracted me about this product is that it covers the forehead area too. I mean thank you!! We get blackheads on forehead too, why do we always forget that part? 🧐 When my package arrived I was super excited to use it. First of all, the packaging was literally very cute and sleek. After opening the packet I was amazed to see the size of the product. I was expecting it to be big but not this BIG!😯

I cleansed my face and according to the directions, placed the strip carefully according to my face. The strip took 15 minutes to dry out completely. While waiting for the same, I went back to my dishes. By the time I was done with them the strip was ready to peel. It came out pretty easily without ripping off my skin or making my nose red like Rudolph.🤪

Normally, my nose and forehead area are pretty clean in appearance but I was surprised to see the results. It removed tiny hairs, blackheads and the entire gunk very effectively. It was gross but so satisfying at the same time. The affected area felt soft and smooth and I could totally see the difference. Then, I followed my normal skincare routine by applying toner, essence, serum and moisturizer on my face.
