A healthy body promotes a healthy mind, which ultimately leads to a healthy skin. Its very important to detoxify your body along with having a good skincare routine. All the skincare and makeup lovers know that “natural beauty” takes two hours in front of the mirror 😛 but giving 10-15 minutes in the kitchen won’t hurt anyone.

Beauty comes from inside and from inside I don’t mean “inside a salon”😏. This drink adequately cleanses the system , improves gut health, maintains hormone levels in the body ultimately leading to a clear complexion.

The ingredients used in this recipe are full of nutritional benefits.

  1. Pineapple– contains an enzyme bromelain which is so good for protein digestion. Whenever you feel bloated after a heavy meal you can have this fruit or juice to relieve the symptoms. It is rich in vitamins, minearals and antioxidants.
  2. Ginger– contains gingerol, have anti inflammatory properties, boosts metabolism, controls weight.
  3. Chia seeds– rich in omega 3 fatty acids and protein these tiny seeds are packed with nutrition.
  4. Cucumber– extremely good for hydration, digestion, rich in fiber.
  5. Lemon– rich source of vitamin C, have antioxidant properties, prevents from free radical damage, builds the immune system.
  6. Apple– is rich source of dietary fiber, maintains blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Rich in vitamins, minerals and aids weight loss.

So, let’s cut to the chase.

1 cup pineapple chunks

Half medium sized apple

One cucumber

A small piece of ginger

Half teaspoon chia seeds

Lemon juice 2 tablespoons

500 ml of water


Add the pineapple chunks with apple, cucumbers, ginger, lemon and chia seeds with 500 ml of water in a blender and blend until turned into a juice like consistency. You can add more water if needed…pour and enjoy🍹

All the ingredients used in this Drink detoxify the body and keeps the system clean. It will help in regulating the weight by increasing the metabolism of the body and keep you fuller for a longer period of time.
